Denmark’s Chemicals Industry - Review Article by Messrs. Sin, Gani and Dam-Johansen - Published in CEP Magazine

# The 5 Apr 2013.

Leading scientists at DTU Chemical Engineering, Asc. Prof. Gürkan and Professors Kim Dam-Johansen and Rafiqul Gani, have written a review article on the Danish chemical and biochemical industry – and its growing demand for engineers and scientists. The review, published in CEP Magazine, includes background information on Denmark’s industrialization – with a focus on industries based on the agricultural sector. The emerging chemical sector of the 1970s spurred by exploitation of North Sea oil & gas is also described.

The primary focus of the article is on modern life-science industries and clusters within the medical industry, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and energy. Read the article in CEP Magazine.

For further information, please contact Associate Professor Gürkan Sin, gsi@kt.dtu.dk.
